I graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. I currently work for the City of Ankeny as the Director of Municipal Utilities and I will have worked for the City for 23 years this upcoming January. I have been married to my wife Libby for 25.5 years and we have 2 kids (Ava and Aiden) that are twins and 15 years old. We have been attending Johnston River of Life for approximately 11 years or at least long enough to be some of the original founders of our Church. I am currently the Chair of the SPRC (Staff-Parish Relations Committee) at JROL. My biggest hobby would be following the Green Bay Packers. I have been a season ticket holder for 5 years although one was the Covid year. My family and I enjoy going to Green Bay to cheer on the Packers as we typically will attend 3 games a year and any playoff games that they are able to host. Another hobby of mine would be playing fantasy football. I have been in one league for 26 years now (I know that sounds crazy) as we used to have to wait for the Monday Chicago Sun Times paper that printed the statistics so we could score the performance of our team.
